Once Apple converted the iPhone from a Lightning connection to USB-C, it enabled several new or enhanced capabilities beyond charging. Not only does it become easier to charge an iPhone and iPad with the same USB-C cable used by most other rechargeable devices, but they can also charge another device, increase the storage capacity, connect an external monitor and/or keyboard, plug in a video game controller, connect to the ethernet, amplify the microphone, and connect multi-faceted USB-C Hub Multiport Adapter. These are all incredibly useful features that will boost an iPhone’s productivity, but that got me to thinking about our own multi-functional product, the iXflash and other iX related flash drives for use with an iPhone or iPad.
The iXflash touts a number of added feature sets, including:
1) Quick easy backup of all stored photos, videos, and contacts
2) Record video directly to the iXflash without using any of the iPhone/iPad’s internal memory
3) Connect to any USB enabled device to access or transfer content
4) Store movies and music that can be played through an iPhone/iPad, including formats not natively supported by iPhone
5) Create or open all types of zip files through your iPhone/iPad
6) Plus, expansive security to protect your data
All this and more comes standard with the iXflash using the iXflash App for nearly all iPhones and iPads, including older Lightning connected iPhones/iPads with an Apple certified MFi adapter. The iXflash is literally the Swiss Army Knife of flash drives and will come in handy for so many situations with both your Apple iOS devices and nearly all other USB enabled devices.
